Pupil Premium
Introduced in 2011, the pupil premium is a sum of money given to schools each year by the Government to improve the attainment and progress of disadvantaged children. The pupil premium is intended to directly benefit the children who are eligible, helping to narrow the attainment and progress gap between them and their classmates. At Hummersknott we identify the specific barriers to progress that this cohort present and develop annual strategies to support all those in receipt of the funding to achieve their potential.
